Marketing using myspace

Do you think marketing using myspace is really worth? I am planning to buy service from a guy but would like to have your expert opinion first.

i have seen many people is doing good market in myspace .i think it is one of the better ways to get affliates to us.anybody using this?

i saw to people who make good traffic from myspace. in my case traffic is bad. people do not stay on page. but probably i am guilty for that because my targeting sucks.

Marketing in myspace is only good when the account that is posting the bulletins does not post bulletins that often, is well known (amongst the friends) and the friends that they have have few other friends, therefore less conflicting bulletin posts and more exposure.

Marketing through any social networking site is good but as long as it doesn't look spammy and doesn't irritate people.
