Please do not get involved in to many Affiliate Programs. That is one of the biggest tips I can lend to your ears. Involving yourself in too many Affiliate Programs gives your blog a bad rep, as it will be full of advertising and affiliate links

I agree, it brings down some users trust, thinking you just want some $$ and scam everyone. I got another tip if i could post in this thread: advertise your affiliate through adsense or bidvertiser, you get $100 for some affiliate programs and through adsense you could pay 10 cents per add, you'd probably make a profit of $30 for each referral this way, and fast

I do not agree but I would say your blog should be focussed. If you want to promote another prgram don't add it to your exisitng site create a new one to promote the site. I would also recommend registering your own domain so that it is under your own control. Host it on a free server costs less than $10 and you can then use your blog to prmote your own site that way you are not adding multiple links to the affiliate owner. Affiliate programs are used to generate thousands of backlinks, in the long run only they will benefit don't use a URL shortener like tiny url but instead prmote your own site and you can put advertising on there as well. If your content is good you should be able to get organic hits as well

yes i agree with you members , we must only focus on one or two affiliates program or just focus on one niche and make a site or blog with reviews of your affiliates products on them and also rate them as per their quality, it will definitely make you some $$$$. Just don't create site with affiliates product and expect people to click from your site and buy it.

Quite true.. Too many affiliate banners on a page make it looks very spammy. I personally dont like such sites and I'm sure a huge percentage of other people also doesn't like it.

I have to agree that loading up a site with affiliate banners looks like a turn off to many readers and they'll simply click away from your site.

I never put too many advertisements on my site. That's one big mistake a lot of people do, thinking it's going to pay off a lot, but in the end it doesn't. Make it blend in, make it look attractive on your page, and don't clutter everything. You get paid more for every click that way.

I agree with paul. We should focus and promote only products which related with your blog content. Then, make a honest review about the product. State the positive and negative things about the product based on your opinion. You visitors will appreciate for your honest review.
