No Google ad may be placed on pages published

Is this true? I'm not asking if you are supposed to or not supposed to do this. No, you're not supposed to this in principle, but there are so many websites designed (probably) for the sole purpose of showing ads. I'm pretty sure that Google is well aware of this. What's your take on this?

hmm it makes sence b/c who would want there ad on basically a link farm page?these people are paying top dollar for these keywords, so they shouldnt get there lnik on some crummy link farm page
