Blog
What are your views on blogs? Can you make money from them, and are they really worth all the trouble?
I've heard several people note or even argue that blogs are really a step backwards in the internet community and progress. I'm not sure if I agree. Sure some blogs will eventually make some money, but the vast majority don't, especially with so many sites with subdomains for blogging such as blogger, xanga, myspace, etc. So...should I make a blog, and should I expect to get money from it? (oh, and do you own a blog yourself?) |

Well i am not into blogging but from what i see, maybe its a good new thing com,ing up, but i have a certain bad feeling about them.... so i wont ever start my own blog, and i think blogs are basically for professionals such as journalists!!

You can make money on blogs. I'm doing it now. It's not much, but that's because my traffic isn't much. I only get about 50 hits a day and still have a PR0 (should get a PR3 when they do their update).
As long as you keep adding new and consistent content and have good ad placement you can make money. I blog because I enjoy it. I didn't do it for the money. I have on blog no sports and have a high repeat readership. The case with most blogs is people who frequent your blog won't click your ads.

I tried to make the ads blend in as much as I could by making them the saem colors as the web template.
