Default Is there an easy way to upload backups made with cPanel?

I have had this problem a few times already.
Once, a host asked me to backup everything, because they were going to format the server to clear al unused accounts etc. So I did this using the cPanel backup.
But when I have this backup, I can't find an option in cPanel to restore it and that's pretty stupid.

So is there a way to restore the backups (complete backups, including databases etc) with cPanel easily, instead of doing everything by hand?

I suggest you use ftp then backup everything. Then backup the your database, if you are worried about mails, i believe that they are also files so ask your admin where they are stores... (old mails and accounts).

I think the only real way to install a back up from Cpanel is to have your host do it. There is no way to do it yourself.
