what should be done to control your child from online games???

the world of computers has risen...yeah it's true..proofs can be observed on teens today...they love to play online games as they were able to chat and make friends through it..not to mention the joy that it brings and the new friends they meet...but somehow, this activity really has a disadvantage to them too..first and foremost, to their studies and behaviour...the worst is, they also spent money to play..what should the parents do to control such problem??

make them do their home work first then allocate a fixed number of hours they can play video games on their computer.

Keep the computer in a common room where everyone can see what they're doing.

Bingo... If parents are worried that much about what their kids are doing on the computer, they should be supervised then.

Lock the computer by using pass word. Allow them to use computer only when they have finished home works, assignments, projects, etc.

I wouldn't really stop my kids from playing online games. Rather, I'd limit the time they can play, maybe for about 2-3 hours if they're about 15. I was always allowed to play computer games and I do think it's not always a negative thing.

Well its not a bad thing unless kids get addicted to it. The thing is let them to use pc a certern time each day and encourage them to do more out door activities.
