About PageRank Prediction
I have seen many sites which says get prediction about your google PR. Is that accurate? If yes What PageRank prediction tools are you using ?

I do not believe in them. Google developers are employing a way more saphisticated algorithms than these tools are offering...

These sites don't give accurate predictions. For one they don't know the formula Google use to give PR's to sites. None the less I use them to check as it gives me a feeling that I am doing some goos work. I use www.iwebtool.com.

I don't like the prediction tools. If I get one link on a pr4 site and there are another 30 links on the same page, I will be around a pr2? I highly doubt it. But the pr prediction tool told me so...

Page Rank Prediction is useless tool. Most tools use Yahoo backlinks to calculate the predicted PR but in real, these are Google backlinks not Yahoo.

I was quite disappointed with the two I used.
This is my first PR update my site has been available to, and they predicted PR4, after getting my PR update today, it is showing PR0 and I'm really disappointed. Had they of been more accurate, I would of spent a lot more time creating relevant back-links until the update was complete, and then focused on creating new features/other sites. As it turns out, I should of left the new features until after the update. Lesson learned though,I am new to all this. PR0 sucks though for sure, I figured PR2 at the least, even 1 would of been something, but PR0, no!! |
