Olate Download 3.0.0 Released

Olate Download 3.0 Stable is now out and available for download from the account system at http://www.olate.co.uk/accounts. This is the final, stable release and contains several fixes over the RC 1 version as well as a few minor tweaks to the template.

The download package includes all the main application files, full documentation, tweaked upgrader (2.2 > 3.0) and full setup system. Also included are several maintenance tools including the FULLTEXT enabler and a script to upgrade from 3.0.0 RC 1 to this version.

You can obtain 3.0.0 by logging into http://www.olate.co.uk/accounts then clicking on Products/Services. Please read the Readme.txt file in the package for installation instructions. The documentation at http://www.olate.co.uk/support/docs/od3/ contains detailed installation instructions.

Upgrading from OD2.2

The upgrader has been tweaked to improve the upgrade process. For full instructions, see the documentation at http://www.olate.co.uk/support/docs/od3/ or in the Readme.txt file in the package.

Upgrading from RC 1

The only change in the database from RC 1 to 3.0.0 stable is the version number. A script has been written to make these changes to your database.

1. Upload all the files in the upload/ directory keeping your includes/config.php file intact (do not overwrite)
2. Delete the setup/ directory (or just don't upload it)
3. Copy the tools/3.0.0-rc1_to_3.0.0.php to your uploaded Olate Download directory on your server
4. Using your web browser, browse to the 3.0.0-rc1_to_3.0.0.php file and follow the on screen
instructions.
