Which way is better to get backlinks faster?

Posting on forums with your site in your sig, paying for backlinks, or submitting to directories?

In your opinion which way is best?

From my personal experience I would definitely say that directories are the best way to get more backlinks and that too faster. That also entirely depends on the quality of directories you choose and also their response time, some directories are taking more time, sometimes 2 months or more!

I think a great way are blog comments.

Make sure you write good comments and dont spam though or you will just give yourself a bad reputation and jeopardize your site.

Signature links are great ways to gets tons of backlinks fast. Just make sure your links are from a do follow forum like this one

Would def have to agree, sig links, blogs, and spending some time listing your site with all the directory sites out there, you always the option of paying for your traffic, but ask yourself, you want quality or quantity?

for saving money and time paid option is the best. Let other people do on behalf of you.

Well lots of directories are worthless nowadays. I would go for signature links and blog comments. Also you must know how to research for valuable backlinks there :P
