I personally think that Norton Antivirus is the best out there. It has found all the viruses that I have ever encountered. I also like it because of its big name

I used to use Norton but I was having a lot of problems with it, so I switched to the free avast! antivirus and so far I have had no problems with it, and it has been very good at detecting threats.

Current I am using the NOD32 , it is very powerful and consume few ram. Unlike kaspersky, it is powerful too but slow down your PC

I think avg, mcafe and norton are all really good but at the moment i am using mcafe as i think it is just about the best.

I have tried several anti-virus softwares including, Norton, McAfee, AVG, Panda, Quick Heal and Clamwin etc. After trying all of them I find that the best which is working for me is avira antivirus. It sounded new to me too but after reading a few reviews I tried it and it is working very well for me.
