As I voted, 87,5 % of members prefer .com extension. I like it and always register domains with .com extension.

.com is the only one that really matters...think of how many of you remember websites with .net?? Myspace? no...yahoo? no...google? no....I mean if you want to be serious .net or any of the others just wont do...
|

I usually prefer .com and then the following in descending order .net , .co.uk , .mobi , .org and so on . But if your website targets a specific country then you should go for that country tld because that will make more sense.

Frankly speaking I prefer .com and .net domain extensions. But .com I think is better a little bit.

I think that is quite obvious that .com domains are the absolute best and most favored. However, depending on what type of website you are running a .org might be a better choice.

You should really get .com for any general website that you intend to have a world wide audience.
If you have something in your homeland language then maybe the country name could do better. .net .eu could also be good if you don't have another alternative! |

I personally prefer .com, but there is no distinction on which domain extension is the best, it all depends on your site relating to the extension.

I like .com as it is more famous. It also sounds more universal.
