Dedicated: Is this a Good Deal Or Not?

I am looking to rent a dedicated server to host a couple of my wordpress blogs and someone offered me the following managed server for $100/month.

1TB Bandwidth
10mb port
Celeron 2.4Ghz
1GB RAM
80GB HD
Any Linux OS
Free Cpanel/fantastico

Is this a deal or I can get a better one for that price? If yes then please send me the right way.

well it'squite worthful to spend that much money on the dedicated server. You can't get more then this for the amoint . Please, go with the service.

I think that's a quite lot of requirement for a blog....
why don't you try googling it out, because it might be hard to find such a configuration out there for <100$

Seems like quite a bit of overkill for a few wordpress blogs, but you should shop around as there are many dedicated servers for under $100 that are a little better on the processor / ports which will help your site respond faster.

From the first line alone it sounds like it's too good to be true.
I was offered something similar and learned the hard way that I was getting ripped off.

To realize what is correct try to look through the offers from another companies. Then you'll see what is the real market situation and understand if your offer is overselling or not.

I can recommend you visiting such provider as hqhost.net. Their dedicated prices are not very high, and this is one of those companies who provide what you see is what you get, I mean hosting plans.

There is a tool for custom server ordering on their site, so you might use it to check how much would custom dedi cost.

Thats sounds like a pretty good deal. One thing you want to make sure of though is that he really has rights to the cpanel he is offering. i.e the cpanel is not a nulled versionm or something.

Look around for a bit and how much traffic do your wordpress blogs recieve? They must have a lot of traffic.
