Default CSS or Tables?

Which method do you prefer in making your site layout? I've been using tables for years now, and for me, it's easier to code with tables than with CSS. But recently I've realized the benefits of coding in CSS which makes your code less heavier and more SE-friendlier, so I'm converting all my sites to CSS. It's not that easy at first, but once you get used to it, it becomes easier.

CSS is overall the best, but it is very complex, and you only know html, then i recommend getting an XHTML 1.1/1.0 template. Avoid linkware.

Agreed. I like CSS the best. It is quite hard but using tutorials newbies can do it

CSS is definitely the way to go. Separating design from content is one of the keys in development of any software or web design. CSS is a little complex, but it's still pretty easy to understand after awhile. I love CSS.

I wish I knew more about CSS to make a whole website out of it I'm a lot more comfortable with tables and still use tables when making websites -- CSS makes the site loads faster though! I'd learn more about CSS if I had more time.

I really cant be bothered making CSS work in all browsers though!

There just always seem to be one or two things that either wont work in IE or Firefox and its quite frustrating trying to work out what is going wrong.

I had been coding using tables for years but I made the change to tableless (css) in a matter of days. I find it much more enjoyable to code layouts using css and I think the end product is better.
