Oh definitely, there are tonnes of FTP programs, but to write tutorials for them all would take me a LONG time. lol.

They are all similar anyway, but yes, there are other choices for FTP clients.

I am a huge fan of SmartFTP. It is free and always has worked well. What programs do you use?

I use FTP Voyager. And most ftp programs are very similar in nature. The tutorial is meant to help those who are starting off with an FTP program.

I use SmartFTP, it's free & super awesome. I taught myself on how to use FTP programs, it's quite easy and straight forwad. Using free FTP programs may be easier for you than free web FTP access which you get with cPanel, etc.

I use smartftp. It is one of the most best and reliable ftp programs. Just name something, what it doesn't have. See? It has all. I am using it for like 20 ftps and it is good for many ftp. It is easy to change from server to server and use it quikly. It saves also from me a lot of time.
