How to get indexed by google?

The best way to get indexed is to create a free product that you distribute over the Internet. Of course you will include your link in it. An example is a website theme.

An easier way is to submit your site to many online directories, and so you get indexed by Google, get some traffic and improve your PR (If submitted to the right directories).

Yes but if you give away a website theme with your link in the footer then each site that uses that theme is linking back to you! Think about the potential! You work a little and create a theme and then give it and reap the benefits. After that it costs you nothing regardless of whether 100 people use the theme or 1000. You still get the backlinks though.

Good idea if you could make some nice website themes. BTW, how are you at theme and template designing?

Good ways to be indexed:
Put an ad on ebay - and ad a link.
Post on relevant forums - put the link in the signature.
Chose the domain and the title of the site which will contain keywords you expect people will type in Google when searching for your kind of product.
Make some videos, load them on big video sites (YouTube, Google video, Yahoo video...), ad your link in description and also in the video itself. If it is an interesting video, you can expect visitors to your site.

Yes thats right. And thats one of the best things about blogs and blogging. You have an in-built advertising system in the form of pinging services. Thats one reason that blogs are becoming so popular. But the day will come when all those spam blogs will flood the pinging services.

Don't forget putting links in your sig, you can get lots of backlinks from that.
