Domain Name Buying Strategies

I'm going to save this list. I've thought of a few of these things on my own, but I can always use more help.

Domain name buying and trying to sell after 5-7 years for double the price does not bring any profit at all unless you are also selling the content. Then it will fetch a much higher price which is determined by the PR. Selling at double the price is less than the fee you would have paid for registration and annual maintenance fee after 5-7 years.

Odysseus is right on that one... It really isn't worth double the price if you have had to pay for it for that long...
