Dreamweaver is pretty easy to use, it's working with the bare code that is the most complicated. I guess that I like the complicated things better, because I just use simple text editors like notepad to create my sites. I love going into and working with the html and code of my sites. I use a lot of programs built into fantastico, so it makes editing my sites a little less complicated, but when I have to edit them, it is through a text editor, either offline or built into my online package.

I have been using FrontPage for my website development project. But now that Microsoft has stopped producing this, I might divert to other application software available or just stick with what Microsoft will introduced in exchange of FrontPage. I hope this new application is just as good and easy to use if not better.

Well, as a design program, I use Dreamweaver.
When I make my site with code only, I use Notepad++. I know not a lot of people know it, but it's very usefull! You should definitely give it a try! I love it! |

I make my websites with either the free Wordpress or Joomla Content Management Systems.
Then, I will find a free template that looks great, edit it with Photoshop, and everything looks great and is well.

I use an open source alternative to notepad/wordpad called Notepad++, it is like the programmers notepad. It has syntax highlighting so you can easily see your codes and what they are, it even lets you pick the document you are using, such as php, html, xml, perl etc, and will apply highlighting for that language. It is really good. Oh and it has a tabbed interface by the way, lol.
