Linux or Windows Hosting ?

Depending on what your needs are, you choose either Windows or Linux. I recommend: Only choose Windows if you like to host ASP(.NET) applications.
I definitly choose Linux then, because its much more stable, and cheaper!

i never hosted some sites but i heard linux is better

I've used both of them, and i think linux works best, windows sometimes has problem with the network connection, and for me i always need nat least a 10 or 12 computers linked.

I like linux better than Windows, though I have never factored this in when I buy hosting plans. As far as I'm concerned, they have most of the same options, and it seems that whichever one I'm using (linux, I believe) is working quite well. I worried more about the cost than the software installed on the servers.

linux is cheaper and best to use all types of scripts it is good hosting

You can also run ASP under Linux thru Chilisoft. Some webhosts offer this feature relatively cheaper than ASP under Windows.

Linux is good, because PHP or CGI/PERL is lot easier than ASP. And it can perform lots of jobs in less coding. And linux is better for this. And one who is a ASP.NET coder then for him Windows is good.

I use windows. It's not true that it has a lot of lags. But I'm not saying that it's better than linux.
