Depending on the type of site it is. I use free hosting for my pagerank checker site. Not really worth putting in on my hosting account i find. But for my forum i keep that on payed hosting.

Paid, Paid, Paid and ONLY paid, because youll newer know when the free hosting will run with your content (happened to me before) at least google had chached it earlier so i could copy it. Also free hosting uptime is not as good as paid hostings.

Paid is just better. It doesn't have ads, it's more reliable and of course it has better customer support. As long as your site is commercial, go with paid hosting always.

i prefer free hosts
because alot of free hosts offer unlimited band width
i have a getpaid to site so i nedd at least 20gb per month
any paid host will give me band width 20 gb will take from me alot of money
and i am in low budget so i think if you added a poll i will vote two free hosting

You have posted a good article. I want to specifically comment on the bit I snipped above. While many free hosts operate in the manner you describe, there are a few that do not. It is always best to do some research, and post around at free hosting forums (and look in free hosting directories) to find a host that will properly meet the user's needs. It is possible to find a free host that offers a business-class experience - it just takes some searching.
