Does anybody recommend this type of driving traffic to your site? I heard they were good for arcades.

Actually, it's just lately that I have found out about the magic of myspace. Some people even sell their accounts in myspace and they earn some great cash from it.

^ Same here. I've seen owners who buy graphic glitters, buy myspace accounts for friend counts.... seems pretty cool.

I also agree, creating an account and harvesting as many friends as possibly is becoming very common only to sell the account. I have purchased some myspace bullitens and have had some "so-so" results.

I would say that I disagree with the overall idea. I think that myspace has enough advertising on it as it is. I would also say, though, that it is probably a very good way to drive traffic to your site. If you yourself had a myspace account with a lot of friends on it, it would be even better, because it is more personal. I haven't used this type of advertising, but I am still thinking long and hard about it.

I came across success stories in using myspace as a marketing tool. But it can only be effective if you have access to a target network group. Building your network is not an overnight task. You have to work for it.

Yes I heard they are effective. I saw some threads in a forum where people buys MySpace bulletins. MySpace accounts also sells for a good amount of money.

I would agree myspace does help a lot in marketing products and services. But there are a lot of things needed to be remembered with myspace. Issues arise like identity theft and phishing which is very present in myspace. Found an article about it (http://www.profilepitstop.com/artic...ce-phishing.php), pretty helpful for all myspace users.

I've heard people get sued for spamming on myspace, so just be careful what you do.
