I read the sigs all the time! It lets you know something about the person and what they are involved in. If I see something Im interested in.. I click on it and investigate!

There's a good reason why some forum signatures on certain forums can sell for as high as $30 a month if you have 1000+ posts.

Those are cool facts about the value of signature links. I think it's one of the cheapest way to get lots of backlinks.

Signatures are very good part of advertising. If you post in related forum then the signature CTR is many times higher then any other text advertising.

Yep, and aside from back links, traffic as well. MarbleHost, makes a good point there, about posting in related forums. Since the chances of someone finding your site interesting will go up. And if it's a thing like a forum, you might even get some registrations and posts!
Also, if you use colors in the text, that can help draw attention as well, just don't over do it. And if you make a lot of good posts, people will pay even more attention to your sig. |

Well Forum Signatures always give lots of backlinks to your site and you can also get some tarffic from it. Also its free way to get links and traffic. You have to make some good posts on forums and bulid great reputation to get better links.

Traffic From Your Signature would depend on 3 main factors
1] How active the forum is overall. 2] How active you are within that forum. 3] How related the sig links are to the forum you are posting in. |
