Dark or light colors on forums?

I say light colors. I really don't like forums or websites which use dark colors. For me, dark colors are not professional at all.

i prefer light colors.. my eyes dont like dark colors.. and i think that the web 2.0's trendy its light colors.. dark colors are so 'last year' ,lol

It is not nessesary that we can use dark colors or light colors.I think we can use that type of colors which are eye catching.

I prefer to use light colors with forums too, especially blue. Honestly, I like the layout of this forum because it is clean and well formatted. Blue is a great choice rather than using black or red.

Well i agree with the other post it matter of what type of forum it is. Gaming or hobby or anything fun sould be like darker cooler like red blue. Anything serous sould be ligther like for a domain selling forum or a buiness forum.
