For the most part lighter colours are more suited to forums with the exception of particular gaming genres. White is usually a good colour to work around also, being a neutral.

i like light colours on forum. They are a cool view when visited and in case some body is using old system with low/limited resolutions, light colours are the best choice

I like light colors too... Light colors give graceful look & feel good to eyes... Color scheme should also depend on the idea behind the site you are working upon...

usually dark colors should be avoided. Colors like black, red are considered for making underground websites for hacking and virus related stuff. So while making a forum website a cool blue ans white combo is super

I must say that I just like with forums, in bright colors Coss the darkest forums are really heavily on the eyes, and I was really sick

Normally if were to deisgn a forum i prefer light colrs like sky blue, light green....but i strongly advice not to use dark colors as it may degrade the look and feel of the page....it looks gaudy and will fail to attract users

See colour combinations are depends upon your website or forum which you are gona publish. It can be combination of dark and light colurs as background and foreground colours in the site.Light background with dark foreground is a good combination.

Definitely light colors. I dont quite like celestial blue. Maybe a light green would be fine. I really hate black colors on forums.
