Has anyone's Yahoo mail ever been hacked?

I'm worried that my Yahoo email account may not have the highest security level. I've heard some people complaining on other message boards that their mail has been read by outsiders. Has this happened to you? Do you think this could be a real threat?

ya yahoo email account can be hacked by someone,to avoid it do onething do not accept file from uknown person and use shared pc's with caution.

Well there are many softwares available with the help of which yahoo id can be hacked.So be alert whenever you use yahoo services.I know many persons whom Id had been hacked by someone.

I have never had my emails hacked before and I don't plan to. I only access my emails on my own pc and I perform spyware scans daily.

I am using yahoo accout since 10 years and fully satisfied with it... But it depends on you how you are using account

There are 2 ways to hack a e-mail account these days. either with a key logger or sending a mail like from yahoo asking you to relogin for something. other wise these days main email services like Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail are pretty hacker proof

i have been using it for years now, uptill now nothing has happened.

i remember once i had and ugly conversation with a guy on yahoo and he was an hacker and had warned me that he would hack my account . after that i used to change my password atleast 2 times a week for over a month or so.....but nothing happnd. was lucky

my one is never hacked till now,have been using for the last 5 years,but its true that there are many softwares with which it is possible to hack your id,so my suggestion would be same as >rishi's< never allow files from someone you don't know
