That's not true, google PR have no related to traffic. Backlink is the only key to increase your PR.

More traffic does not mean higher PR. There are some sites with low PR but are generating huge inflow of traffic. So don't get confused yourself on that.

I think there are no softwares to increase the no. of people visiting the site. Of course in the links pointing towards your site increse, your page rank will increase. This will improve your search engine ranking and the no. of visitors. Very simple.

as far i know it doesn't happen that way; google PR are based on algorithm that count other sites PR (linked sites); you might have 1 link from PR7 web site and got (maybe) PR3 but i believe the traffic wouldn't be significant.

Google PR tends to make me hopeless, i prefer Alexa Ranksince anything i do with my site will reflected there (sorry don't have exxplanation yet)

well i belive if u place your website link to those webs who has good page rank at lease more than 3.. then ur website rank will be increase L)

I agree with all members who said get quality backlinks to your site. In other words, get a lot of backlinks from high PR sites. Thats the fact I know.

You need to get tons of back links to generate traffic and get chances to have high page rank!.. But you must get quality of back links.. Quality deals with relevancy..
