use FireFTP if you are firefox user and if you wish to have some standalone application use FileZilla, both are available for windows as well as linux and are thebest among thier breeds

I wonder how good is this FireFTP is ? Have you used it ? Since it must be a plugin would it make Firefox slower ? It already has enough memory leak problems.

well its a plugin and is better for those person's who hate to switch windows and wish to work on a single window then fireftp is good, i have used both fireftp and filezilla, i use fireftp whenever i can't use filezilla other i go for filezilla,

I use Fireftp (Firefox add-on), gftp (for linux), KFTPGrabber (for linux with kde graphical desktop).
Generally I use kftpgrabber because you can use with it ssh, ftp and sftp.

I have used cuteftp, coffecup ftp..these are easy to use ..just need to add details and upload files on to your site

I used to use Ftp programs few times (SMART FTP ) but when license key was gone i stoped to use , i just downloading with my downloading program , dont using it anymore.

I personally use FileZilla, which I see a lot of people already suggested it.

It's always been reliable for me and gets the job done.

I also use FileZilla. It does the job and the best part is it's free. Can't argue with the price.

i use coreftp and i really like it .. it's fast and yes, it's also free ... there are some advanced options, but i only use the basic features

I wish Opera had a FTP widget like Firefox has FileZilla. It really seems like a waste that I have to open a separate program simply to FTP. But then again, I remember that FireFTP was pretty slow compared to FileZilla. PHPDesigner2008 has a built-in FTP client, and I use that too since it's pretty handy.
