    .mobi

    What do you think about .mobi extension?
    Personally I think it does not need to exist because sites ended with .com,.net or .info can be optimized to appear properly on mobile phones or devices without the use of another ext. There is no need for an awkward extension like .mobi. And people can simply type .com into a mobile device and will be more inclined to do so rather than .mobi.

    .mobi or .com ...site has to be optimised for the appereance of mobile. I personally think .mobi aint that good as domain.

        it depends.

        its easy for route info shopinfo parking info restaurants hotels movies clips
        etc etc.

        i think a few sites wil work great on .mobi

          well maybe it should have been .mob still it doesn't looks thy good, anyways i had tried grabbing one ..which was already registered the second day from this ext release.

            Well, .mobi extension is less than a bad extension!
            It does not sound professional and I wouldn't use it no matter how cheap I could get a .mobi domain!

              It will take some time for it to become popular with the general public. Its aimed at mobile phone users so I wonder how many of them actually surf the net on their mobiles? If the numbers are large enough it could be a worthy investment.
