    Experiences With FDC Servers

    I am currently hosted with http://fdcservers.net and would like to share my experiences.

    After weeks of searching and researching I found that FDC has the best prices for dedicated servers (followed by EV1).

    Some troubles:
    - Their bandwidth provider (cogent) stopped working/blocked them for a whole day.
    - Whenever my server overlaods, it takes them a while to reply to the ticket.
    - Their dedicated server parts are bad (cheap ram etc.)

    Except for that, they have been good to me. I run adult hosting so I get lots of abuse and they have been lenient about it (gave me warnings before doing anything drastic)

    So in conclusion, if you are not looking for top of the line servers and don't expect to be overloading etc. I would suggest using FDC. Otherwise, use someone else such as EV1.

    FDC Servers looks like a promising company although i didnt have any persoanl experience i would like to hear more about it.

      From your experience I think I'll pass on FDCServers, I currently use 1&1 Managed Dedicated Server Hosting and its been great.

        You are allowed ONLY ONE picture(banner) upto 120 pixels in width and 60 pixels in height with a maximum 30kB filesize.

        In combination with a banner/picture you can have ONLY ONE LINE text link.


        Advertising
        Webmaster related advertising is allowed in Webmaster Marketplace section only. Free of charge.

        Shopping related (tangible goods) advertising is allowed in Buy Sell Trade section only. Free of charge.

        No advertising allowed except paid stickies in other sections.

        Please make sure that your post is relevant.
