    The deal that Google needed even more than Microsoft did was fueled with cash from Google's secondary stock offering; now we know part of the reason they wanted to raise more money on top of the returns from their 2004 IPO.

    Reuters added another piece of the puzzle that hadn't been mentioned elsewhere. According to the report, Google Talk users will be able to communicate with AOL's AIM users, who number around 22 million.

        Yeah, if it wern't for all those AOL disks, I woudlen't have my great AOL Disk Wall collash.

        Anyways, i dont' think it was in that aprticlar article, but dosen't this mean that google will be putting image ads on their search results for the first time ever? Not excactly happy with that :S But oh well. This is also the first time Google has given preference to someone for it's ads...before, everyone has equal opportunity. :S Oh well...yay for google...future dictator of the world :-P

          lol aol disks i use to order thousands and then throw them out the windows and off the roof, i really like how they fly
