  • Question on google ads..

    Hey all,

I've been considering moving one of my sites off of a free host, and to a host where I can put adverts and such onto my pages. I've heard alot about the Google ads you can put onto your page, and get paid for click-throughs-however, I've also heard that Google can be bad about paying. Is this true? I'm a bit of a newb at this whole advert thing, just wanted to get some info on it! Thanks!

well you probably heard of people getting suspended before getting paid but this is because they were using programs, clicking their own ads, and all that other mumbo jumbo. I got paid via check in august $111.92 and i spent the money . and then i got suspended for using illegal methods i did use them, im not denying, because once you start getting money, you want to earn it faster so you keep on clicking .

Ok, that doesn't sound too bad. How do you put the ads up? Do they just give you an HTML code to add?

I dont think you can use it on free hosted pages but I'm not sure. Check with their TOS before doing it.

yea they are getting stricter every day with their rules, i also do not think you can get approved with a free hosted site.

Google are really strict with their rules on publishers because if they arent advertisers wont use adwords to advertise their stuff. You wouldnt be happy if people were clicking their own ads and it was costing you money. Google makes it so strict so that only good publishers can use adsense, this will mean that advertisers will want to advertise more and so creates more money for everybody.
