  • Poor Kids (seriously)

I felt bad to hear all those kids died after some lady in the Philippines gave them cassava root in caramel. Cassava Root is a strange thing. If cooked correctly, it very nutritious, but if it's cooked wrong, it's extremely poisonous (from the cyanide that is created in the person's stomach). She didn't cook it right apparently, as the kids ate it and got sick or died. It's a shame to hear about so many young lives taken like that. They ought to hang the lady, though they don't know whether she did it on purpose or not. Even if it was an accident, I don't expect her to be in good shape when the parents get through with her.

Thats very sad, but I wouldn't ever eat such thing in which a person is not sure that if it is nutrious or poisonous. Why take a risk? There are lot more things to eat in the world and they have no risk for poison.

The airline regulations and standards are very poor outside of the US, there have been a few crashes in the past week.
