That's true. But that offer is very attrative as using it you get free domain buying a package plan very cheap. It's cheaper that reg a domain somewhere else. Anyway why not using this offer from MarbleHost.com?

I wonder if you can transfer it away from there if you decide to move hosts. It doesn't really say unless it does in their terms of service. Not a bad deal though if you are looking for a provider and a domain.

Never go with a host that's offering you a "domain for life". You'll regret it - and most people have. In many cases, they register for your domain...and if your site becomes quite successful they'll be in possession of something that belongs to you. The tricky part is getting your domain from them.

In most cases you're not allowed to change your primary domain into anything else. If you have a complaint, you run the risk of losing your entire website - including the domain.

I'm sorry, but I would advice against hosting that offers you this "free" domain.

There is no such thing as a domain for life. First of all onyl a VERY trustfull and HUGE provider will(?) last for the whole of your life. Another point its just a marketing trick to get more customers.
