changing name server, how long till completed?

yesterday i changed my domain name server
untill now, i can not open the website

according to your experience, usually how long will it take till the process completed?

usually it does not take more than 24 hrs.
it can take sometimes longer.
Also once i faced this problem and did a trick.May b your isp takes longer time in going to new hostname.
Try to go by a proxy.

how long is a bit of string!! I had to wait 2 days once for mine, but generally within a few hours for the actions to place.

Usually 24 hours is ideal time but it depends on name servers of the host as in 1and1 Hosting i get name servers propagate in 3-4 hours and it works!

I really love 1and1 for this speed....

yes, usually it takes less than 24 hours, but there are some things, over us, which makes this time longer, even 48 hours or maybe it's the cache of browser ... i don't know, but the main thing is to have patience

After changing nameservers you can access the website within a minute but for complete propagation it will need 24 to 48 hours and sometimes a maximum of 72 hours
