Is anyone using the 1-dollarhosting here? I am curious how they are managing to give such cheap hosting plans and is it really reliable? I am planning to give it a try though and see how it works. can someone who have used it tell about it?

There are many other hosts that only charge $1/month that are much better, also people have reseller accounts which they sell personally without a website. There are probably many peoply doing that here and on other webmaster and hosting forums.Comment

if u want to go for 1 $ hosting... i prefer you to go for a 2$ one which is hosted by yahoo..... u get a domain for 2 $ which is very great and cheep... as u know about yahooo.... its nevere down.... not even a micro second.... then what r u waiting for ... just go to yahoo and book your own domain for 2 $ and host it instantly.....Comment

I never used a $1 hosting service and I'd never consider using it. Such services are only good for "junky sites" as you never know when will the host decide to shut down their service, which happens a lot with these cheap hosts.Comment

i m agreed with you. i got scammed more then 3 times and last time i get scammed of almost 375$ which is a shit. the worst thing was that i paid annually, greed is always curseOriginally posted by AHA7

Cheaper the price normally you get less quality too. Sometimes less downtime but not much support. This kinda hosting is good for those new sites or when you want to keep a doamin with mini site on. But not for things like forums and stuff.Comment
