I'm new to VPS.

Before installing our site, I was wondering if I should not install internet security software on the VPS to avoid virus and DOS attacks.

When I tried installing Kaspersky's software it said that the OS is not supported.

What am I doing wrong then? Or can't we install security software on a VPS on our own? Or is a specific manufacturer or version recommended?

To avoid your VPS from viruses attack, you can ask to your hosting provider. Usually, they have some security tool to compliment their client hosting. Or do you have been check it your hosting plans, is there include the security tools or not. If not, I think you must be upgrade for that.

To keep away from your VPS from viruses assault, you'll be able to ask to your internet hosting supplier
