    anyone use them here still? do u know whats legal on there site? if u have material that could be offensive to others can u host it there on there free service if you put up a warning page or do they still automatically take it down thats one of the reasons why i stopped using there service and started my own hosting business.

      I once say an adult material site refered by a friend. I don't know if its still up, but the kid said it had been up for about a year. So I am thinking they don't monitor it that closly.

      Like morph said read their TOS.

      I read in the TOS and found this for you.


      5. MEMBER CONDUCT
      You understand that all information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages or other materials ("Content"), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from which such Content originated.       (m) collect or store personal data about other users;


      (n) promote or provide instructional information about illegal activities, promote physical harm or injury against any group or individual, or promote any act of cruelty to animals. This may include, but is not limited to, providing instructions on how to assemble bombs, grenades and other weapons, and creating "Crush" sites;


      (o) use your home page (or directory) as storage for remote loading or as a door or signpost to another home page, whether inside or beyond Yahoo GeoCities;


      (p) have multiple Yahoo GeoCities addresses that are within the same Yahoo GeoCities neighborhood or that have the same theme; or


      (q) engage in commercial activities without enrolling in Yahoo-approved affiliate programs. This includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:

      offering for sale any products or services;
      soliciting for advertisers or sponsors;
      conducting raffles or contests that require any type of entry fee;
      displaying a sponsorship banner of any kind, including those that are generated by banner or link exchange services, with the sole exceptions of the GeoGuide Banner Exchange program and the Internet Link Exchange; and
      displaying banners for services that provide cash or cash-equivalent prizes to users in exchange for hyperlinks to their web sites.

        Well i dont know if the monitor all websites or even review sites that are reported as offensive. Once a site was uploaded onto geocities that had biased content against a religion anf it repeatedly reported wihtout any action being taken by them, so i dont even give them a thought!
