.co.cc isn't good as .tk domains. yourname.tk is way better than yourname.co.cc

I am using the free co.cc domain. So far so good with me. You can check in my signature my proxy website www.unblock-me.co.cc, it is fast. Anyway, if you have money , you had better buy a paid domain.

but webmasters dont prefer it as it is not easily and automatically listed in search engines

co.cc is good for a beginner with a free DNS control and Zone recordings. you can also set up google apps for it too! I suggest you to use co.cc if you dont have enough money or if you dont want to spend for a .com

the only disadvantage is that your site does not get listed up for a search engine

Go to ww.07x.net , register and login. Now go to subdomains, they will give an option for many subdomains, including that of .co.cc , Here choose any one and then you can enjoy ur website. Also you will have PHP and Mysql support too. Do check out

Its a good one for beginners, but if people want to go serious with a domain, i feel they should just buy one because all in all .com/.co.uk is better than .co.cc/.tk etc.
Plus to be completely recognised in the WWW you need a good domain that is catchy and that will stick!

My website was a co.cc for some time and it was on google and yahoo. However, it does look less interesting than a .com and for that reason alone many people will not go to it. Other than that, it really is the same as everything else.
