Free Webhost - Need a Suggestion

Hii there, I need to setup a new blog for myself.. as I m totally new to these thing, i really dont to go for a paid host.. at least for starting 3-4 months..
anyways..
Can anyone suggest me a good reliable free webhost where I can conveniently use a wordpress script.. well dont need a heavy space or bandwidth.. min. 50-100 Mb space would also work for me..

any suggestion ?!!

I would suggest not using a free webhost at all, especially if you are going to move after a few months. What's the point? I've personally never used a non pay hosting company though...

Different kind of website require different kind of hosting. If anybody says that one or two hosts are the best in the world, don't believe them. If you are having problem choosing a web hosting to use, I suggest you do the following:

1. Go to the webhost review sites such as webhostingjury, hostingsthatuck.com or webhostinggeeks and list down about 3 to 5 common top hosting companies.

2. Next, for each web hosting X, do a “X sucks” search on Google. Read some complaints and see if you may encounter the same problems like them. Some of the complaints may relate to certain groups of users only such as VPS, dedicated server users or resellers. So you may not be affected if you are not from these categories. You also do this to remove the web hosts who paid to get on top of some review sites.

3. Eliminate those hostings you feel uncomfortable with, and look for the best bargain hosting for your money and requirements.

If you need a shopping, most of them will have somekind of one-click install for one of the popular shopping cart applications. You can start with Justhost, Fatcow and Bluehost in your research.

Here are two good free webhosts I have used recently.

www.hostcell.net

Both are good, though I like the latter because it does not limit mySQL db space. It will take a few hours for the admin to activate your account, though.

I recommend comparing the free hosting services based on the factors that are important to you for your site. If you are new to site building, you would want a good website building software package and quaility templates.

If you are serious about websites either for personal or your business, don't go to free web hosting as they are usually not reliable and you may end up losing all your hard work. Free web hosts usually put advertisements on your websites and it could be annoying.

If you don't mind becoming a member of a forum and post few posts per month then get and free hosting account at www.frihost.com

You get 240 MB space and 10GB bandwidth and also you can use addon domains. I have used it for 2 years now and This is the only free hosting site i can recommend.

I can second, Frihost.com as a free wen hosting. They are stable and have been in business for more than 2 years. They offer you a good package which is more than enough for a blog. Also their forum is big for finding things to post or reply wont be a problem.
