HTML Virus

When www.passurclass.com/arcade is loaded AVIRA Antivirus shows that it has the virus HTML/Crypted.Gen - Malware. I believe this virus is in the template, could anyone tell me more about it or how to fix it?

I didn't know about it, but you cannot convince me to open that link it might have the virus that you have been talking.

I won't tell anyone it is safe to open, but to clear up all the wondering minds.. As far as I know it is just an image that says 'I'm an HTML virus' with the website asking you to stick the image on your own website.

I cannot be certain if this is all it is, because I didn't do any research on it. I came across this somewhere else yesterday, I was quite surprised when I noticed a thread about it here as well.

PS. That link doesn't even work.

I've downloaded Trendmicro antivirus to get rid of this pest.If this pest is infecting your computer, you may noticed that your browsing speed will decreased if not not loading at all.

good I have "On Access Scanner" by Avast!
It take care everything about virus or malware
bad thing is it locked the site that I have to shut avast off if I want to open it

HTML malware are embedded inside HTML markup files, typically relying on embedded script languages.
Some HTML malware are simply html mails that are used in phishing scams.

hey these type of virus are always attached with HTML coding by making some links so that when user just click on them then his system got affected.

Ok, so if you are suspecting the template to be the bug, try changing it. Then let us know what are the differences.
