How much space and bandwith a forum like this uses? Can admin says what's the current usage? Are there any additional requriments needed to consider when choosing a hosting for forum - any obligatory features - besides vBulletin support of course?

Well I am not experienced in forums but I can tell you that your requirements will not be as high as you expect. Firstly I think you can find that free boards like mybb (mybboard.com) are good enough for the vast majority of forums. Secondly I think you won't need more than a 100 or so MB of disk space for most small to medium forums.

Re: forum - how much space/bandwith?

for a forum of this size? usage is probably moderate... a medium sized hosting account will do.

        probably
100-200 mb space (depending on attatchments and addons)
        1-3 gb traffic

so a hosting account like... 500mb space/10 gb traffic should work fine

its always better to talk to a host and let them know you're unaware of your needs though... I can get you hooked up for cheap if you're still interested.

My forum recieves around 5000-10000 uniques a month on average at the moment and only takes up 2 or 3 gb bandwidth at the maximum.

Disk space it takes around 200mb I do believe.
