Adding a Second domain - SEO?

So my company used to offer one type of service and now we added a second service. But our domain still says service1.com and when we tell the people who need service2 our website address, they say that they don't need service1.

So I am thinking of getting a second domain that either says service2.com or one that says service1&2.com.

My question is, what is the best way to go about adding this second domain as far as SEO goes? My first domain has 2 years of use so I don't want to loose that domain authority.

So should I just register a second domain and have it redirect to the first? Or should I build a different website for service2 altogether? Or is I still better to move the site I have now to a new domain that includes both services?
