Forumer isn't even that good. I rather use a vB or IPB, since I can spend a little extra for a hosting.

well one can get a free hosting, also in many forum a free domain for posting and using phpBB or SMF or MyBB, one may get his forum running with a domain free of cost...

People who are interested in setting up a free forum can try the free service offered by invision as well.
I'm using it myself and I would say it would be an ideal choice especially if you do not have many members in your forum and you just need a medium or a channel of communication.
