Yeah, that is a great question for us. Good time to post on social nets like facebook is very important; all of your facebookers can easily see your posts. Normally, around 7-9am, 11am-12pm, 4-5pm and 8-11pm, depending on each country's custom and culture.

Why did you post the same question twice?

To answer you though, a good time to post on social media is all dependent on your industry, business strategy, and social following. This differs significantly. So it really depends on your target market and who you are posting these things for. A 40-50 year old demographic will likely be on social media at another time than a 13-23 year old demographic. So this can't be answered in a general way.

And those who tell you "this is the time you should be posting on social media" really knows nothing about it.

However, charlesdickens is correct, you should have a regular social media posting schedule. And you need to monitor it to see what's working and what isn't working and make adjustments from there. This isn't something that can be automated and utilizing a set-it-and-forget-it approach. Social media is SOCIAL after all. So it needs to actually reach people and resonate with people.

The best times are between 1 p.m.–3 p.m. on the optimal days. Anytime between 9 a.m.–3 p.m. are peak times of Twitter use. Huffington Post: For maximum retweets, post at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m.

And what are the "optimal days"? That is no help at all. And what Huffington Post does is what works for them at this point, it doesn't mean it will work for everyone. You cannot say that there is a definite optimal day and time to post, because this will be different for everyone depending on niche or industry. It's important to use web analytics to see how your site and social mediums are performing and see when you are specifically getting traffic. Then cater your posting to the times when YOU are getting traffic. Not from what Huffington Post or anyone else is doing.

Yes, there is no best time to post your article on social media platform because your story will only show in your field, post visibility available for the public and the people in your circle so you should create a hug members as your friend on that platform.

We get it, managing your business's social media accounts can be daunting: from tweaking tweet lengths to mastering Facebook tone, to using the right hashtags at the right times.
But what savvy social media users know is that there's a science to getting it right—if you follow certain parameters, you’re almost guaranteed to get the results you were working toward. All it takes is some knowledge and forethought, and anyone can be well on their way to posting engaging content.

Is that copied and pasted from Huffington Post?

Again, "best time" is relative. It all depends on when your audience will be online. Which depends on who your audience is. Which depends on your niche. So....a general "these are the best times" statement doesn't really go all that far.
