How do you develop your domain?

Everybody talks about developing their domain names but nobody gives out the details. So please tell me how you go about developing your domains? Is their a series of steps that you take?

Simply open a forum , try to have more than 100 members and thats a domain development

Well, it is not an easy task to get visitors to your domain even if it is developed. You will have to make it special and unique and add a lot of info and content to it so that people will visit your site to learn and read and will come back if they find what they are looking for.

Is there a series of steps that you follow to develop a domain? Do you research content, develop a site etc or do you just dive in without a plan? Also how do you promote your site? Do you just submit to directories and hope people will visit or do you adopt some other method? I would love to know.

Well at least spend 50 $ for prizes for your members and soon you will have too many members and then you can sell for 150 $ so 100 $ profit

I usually have the idea for the site, then buy the domain then write the script.

free forums work great.
Throw a nice skin on it, and it'll look great, and the users usually dont care

if you dont like phpbb, smf is a really nice one too

I use always ready amde script but soon i am going to write my own scripts
but it takes more time in order to write

Submit the site to directories and try to advertise on lots of free forums.

It's generally the only way if you aren't willing to put any money into advertising.

The best thing to do is make the site unique and likely to keep people coming back.

Its simple! Make a website on your domain and then get traffic (advertising, search engines etc.) and earn from affiliate programs.

Using forums you can maintain your own domain.Add as many menmbers you can have.its great
