  • Lizard Phobia

I have phobia of Lizards. If I see any in my room or in my garden, I totally freak out. I have been told that they don't carry any poison (the gecko lizard which is usually found in homes) but they still give me creeps. Is there anyway I could get rid of this phobia?

Honestly I've never heard of this being a phobia but come to think of it... I react the same way. LOL Not sure how to curve that. Interesting topic though!

Someone gave me idea of keeping Iguana as a pet and slowly getting used to get rid of small lizard phobia too. However, this idea also gave me creeps... lol ..

I think your reaction on lizard is just normal for everybody especially ladies are scared of lizard because of the way they look and the texture of their skin.

          Re:

Phobias are usually generated by a combination of external threat and internal weaknesses. Cat phobia is a simple fear of cats, that they will jump out of somewhere and scratch someone's face with their claws.
