    Tips for Running a Successful Test Stream on Twitch

    Hey everyone,

    I’m new to streaming and want to make sure everything works before going live for real. I’m planning a test stream on Twitch to check my audio, video, and overlays, but I’m not sure how to best simulate a real stream environment.

    Should I stream with friends only, or is it okay to go public with no viewers? Also, what tools or settings should I focus on to troubleshoot potential issues beforehand? Any advice on preparation, technical checks, or common mistakes to avoid would be greatly appreciated.

You are allowed ONLY ONE picture(banner) upto 120 pixels in width and 60 pixels in height with a maximum 30kB filesize.

In combination with a banner/picture you can have ONLY ONE LINE text link.

Webmaster related advertising is allowed in Webmaster Marketplace section only. Free of charge.

Shopping related (tangible goods) advertising is allowed in Buy Sell Trade section only. Free of charge.

No advertising allowed except paid stickies in other sections.
