    I run 2 forums
They are both new (1 month old) and i bought 2 vBulletin licenses
The script is PERFECT, but i am still recovering from the financial loss
    It's too expensive for a 17 yo

Vbulletin is the best ever forum script and a 2nd hand license did cost me $90 and there are several free mods to make it best. You can get a complete n great forum like this forum using this script which is not free.

I use SMF and at the moment I'm pretty happy with it. I haven't use Adverting on my forum so its the best for the moment. I want to run a phpBB3 forum and see how it works.

Have never used phpbbPlus. Is it a paid version of phpBB ? whats the difference between phpBBPlus and phpBB ? This is the first time I heard about it.

I started to run a forum, but really got tired of talking to myself. It takes a significant amount of work and advertising to get a forum going. I decided time was spent better doing other work. I was running PHPBB2 at the time.

I used to have a bunch of forums. I sold all of them then recently made a new one because I felt kind of lost without one. lol
I've always either used phpBB, MyBB or vBulletin. Out of all of them, I think my favourite was phpBB 2.

I've been running forums for many years now and I have used vBulletin 95% of the time. I used phpbb once. There is simply no other forum software that works as well as vBulletin in my opinion.

I actually have run a forum before. it was good. There's a lot of work to be done for it to be successful, and have members join, but if you really want the forum, then it is worth it.

                      I'm running 2 forums now.

One with phpbb2 = i like this one because there's so many plugins, and the support is great, since many people using it, by using the forum you can get help easily.

One with SMF = love this one because of the user interface is much more nicer. and Im running SMF and tiny portal. not much plugin thought, and slow support.

I'm now running a froum with mybboard. I like it for good appearance and it has plaza mod. hehe. That mod is I like best. But if I can afford, I'll use vbulletin.

I'm going to start another forum soon so I'm thinking about alternative forum scripts for SMF. I have no problems with it but I like to try something like phpBB or myBB and see how they are.

Fot vBulletin you have to pay 160 usd per year so its bit too much pricey unless you have solid advertising system. I'm happy with SMF for the moment it has all what I need.
