Why cpanel?

Why all webhosts offer cpanel? I think ipanel and directadmin is cool also? Why is it just cpanel always? Cpanel is expensive and really uses much of resources to compare atleast for some other panels? Is it just about the options?

Cpanel has easy user interface is is commonly used by all hosting companies and thus the users are having much experience on using it.

Main reason I prefer Cpanel to other hosting control panels is that Cpanel has Fantastico. which is a wonderful tool for one click installations.

yes i believe its because of Fantastico and Cpanel is very user friendly and there will be no hassle on using if you or your client has no in dept background on it...

but i also suggest Plesk

Cpanel is fast and easy to use. Fantastico make Cpanel more user friendly. That is the main reason why I prefer Cpanel. Is that any alternative beside it?

ill go with cpanel, coz its what most of us are using since starting.. and its more friendly, theres fatastico in it.. we can say we'r use to it so we'll stick to it.. lol

Plesk is one alternative if you doubt it try there demo and you will see its usability and if your problem was the fantastico Plesk also have that feature

Cpanel is the easiest and "slickest" to use lol. Its as other people have said, more friendsly and user maneagable.

I also prefer cPanel. I use it from Ahosting.biz and dare say that with this panel I can do many things and it helps me to run my business smoothly.

well i see your point but since cpanel is short for control panel it is more physcologically attracting then ipanel or directadmin but because cpanel is more common people prefer it

cpanel is used because even someone with limited knowledge in making a website (like me) could make one. It's very easy to use and it's pretty much autopilot.
