I have used Social networks like stumbleupon and directory submitting as traffic source and page rank but never tried youtube traffic yet. Can any body who have used youtube can share their views here.

OK so this is how it happened with me.
Made a forum.
Made a video about my niche.
That video got over 1 million views.
I made more videos...One currently has over 7 million views.
My forum now has over 24,000 members
Yes, youtube was my ONLY source of traffic and I have made thousands and thousands of dollars out of my forum xD -
it's still effective but a lot of work to do like polkadotboy said.. every day i makes some money at youtube from traffic that i generate.. you should try and must be success from this techique.Comment

If you want good traffic from Youtube you must make good videos.
I mean a customer comes,likes the video,goes to your website.
If he dosn't likes the video then he thinks your website s*cks.

I run 3 sites of my own and manage traffic for 4 more, for others, with ytube as the primary source of traffic and I think we do rather well with them. Some of the key issues, as said before, are videos that interest, keywords, and title.
No interest = No Views = No Links Clicks = a Waste of your time and effort.

that's really great but it depends on quality and promotion of the video.
i have submitted several video but gain no success.
