What’s difference between Stack and Queue?

  2. Default

Stack and Queue both are used as placeholder for a collection of data. The primary difference between a stack and a queue is that stack is based on Last in First out (LIFO) principle while a queue is based on FIFO (First In First Out) principle.

Here I attached 2 images that showing the operations done on stack and queue. In stack these operations are known as pop and push and in queue its enqueue and dequeue.

Stack and Queue both are linear data structures can be implemented both in array and Linked List. Stack is a data structure where the data that enter first will be retrieve in Last (FILO), but in case of Queue the data that has enter first would be first to left (FIFO) the counter.
